10 million Thai rice farmers are being transformed.
Albeit, Thai rice is well known around the globe for its high quality and yummy taste, people behind it are the poorest population of Thailand which account for at least 10 million lives in every region especially in the northeast.
Most rice farmers in the northeast can do only a single crop due to a limited extent of the irrigation system and the soil characteristics that cannot hold water all year long. Moreover, using chemical pesticides and fertilizers have deteriorated their health as well as destroy natural ecosystem in the fields for decades.
That's why an organic agricultural practice comes in to transform their lives in a better way.
